Although the data models](https://github.com/smart-data-models) are free to be used with any 'meaning', the original idea of device model (https://github.com/smart-data-models/dataModel.Device/tree/master/DeviceModel) is to keep static properties of a device while the device (https://github.com/smart-data-models/dataModel.Device/tree/master/Device) data model to keep those properties more dynamic (i.e. ip address,etc)
