2016-12-19 14:02:50 +0200 asked a question IoT Ready program / for free or for a fee?

I have heard some concerns and questions from companies regarding the IoT Ready program. While evaluating the investment of their time, companies ask: - how will FIWARE promote the certified devices and SW stacks? - Will it be for free?

Any thoughts or answers on this?

Hi! the thrive notebook could help as well - it is an interactive tutorial connected to a real FIWARE instance guiding you through the Tour Guide app. it doesn't have that bug with the entitytype and you can query for the entity you just created with the entityname. Entity/Sensor and Service creation and querying are covered with examples in the notebook. https://notebook.thrive.to/tutorial/3... Rgds, Eva

While it is very clear what are the drivers for Smart City related devices to go for the IoT Ready certification, I wanted to ask: How do you see IoT uptake within agricultural / farming applications? Do you think that the IoT device manufacturers in the farming field would benefit significantly from being interoperable?
