2018-04-11 03:33:01 +0200 asked a question how to use mirrored orion or some fiware component images from public FIWARE Lab on private FIWARE Lab.

I tried orion image on public FIWARE Lab cloud, and I tried following tutrial
https://fiware-orion.readthedocs.io/e...startguide/index.html

I found that "orion.lab.fiware.org" needs authentication and using token.
Also, orion image that I launch on FIWARE Cloud is same(need token from orion.lab.fiware.org)

Q1. I plan to launch private fiware lab and mirror images from public fiware lab.
When I mirror images from public FIWARE lab, that also need Public FIWARE Lab Authentication,
Is that right?

Q2. If orion image authentication and get token from private fiware lab, I hove to build orion image localy and launch following services,
is that right?
services:
FIWARE keyrock that authenticate from orion

2018-04-10 07:01:11 +0200 asked a question Private FIWARE Lab with using VMware vSphere or ESXi

I would like to build Private FIWARE lab.

I read FIWARE Lab Nodes Handbook and understood FIWARE Lab depends on OpenStack.

https://forge.fiware.org/plugins/medi...LabNodes_Handbook

I have some question for build a FIWARE Lab

Q1. Is it possible that FIWARE Lab building without OpenStack

I would like to build FIWARE Lab with using VMware vSphere, is it possible?

Q2. Is it possible that controller is running on VMware vSphere

If I can't build FIWARE lab without OpenStack, I would like to build openstack controller on VMware vSphere. Is it possible?

the handbook writes about OpenStack Controller that,
---
3 Controllers in HA (including also Neutron L3 HA solution) with the following services

The nova-scheduler service, that allocates VMs on the compute nodes.
The cinder-scheduler service, that allocates block storage on the compute nodes.
The glance-registry service, that manages the images and VM templates. The backend for the registry maybe the controller node, or the Object Storage.
The neutron-server service, that manages the VM networks.
The heat-api and engine
The swift-proxy service that manages request to the object storage nodes.
The nova-api service, that exposes the APIs to interact with the nova-scheduler.
The cinder-api service, that exposes the APIs to interact with the cinder-scheduler.
The glance-api service, that exposes the APIs to interact with the glance-registry.
The keystone service, that manages OpenStack services in a node.

2018-04-06 08:24:40 +0200 asked a question how to build Private FIWARE Lab

I would like to build private FIWARE lab for limited users.

I found some informations that I build public FIWARE Lab in URL bellow FIWARE Lab Nodes Handbook https://forge.fiware.org/plugins/medi...LabNodes_Handbook

I understood how to build public lab but I don't understand difference between Public lab and Private Lab.

I would like to know following things

Q1. Components these Private FIWARE Lab should have, but Public FIWARE Labs don't have I read "FIWARE Lab Nodes Handbook", maybe. Private FIWARE Lab should have following components, Is that right?

(1) FIWARE Self Service Interfaces - Cloud Portal

https://catalogue.fiware.org/enablers...

(2) FIWARE Identity Management - KeyRock

https://catalogue.fiware.org/enablers...

(3) OpenStack Keystone

If I have to more components for private FIWARE lab, Please tell me.

Q2. Private FIWARE Lab authentication I read "FIWARE Lab Nodes Handbook", maybe, FIWARE Lab use Public FIWARE Network's OpenStack KeyStone and FIWARE Keyrock service for authentication. Is that right?

Q3. VM Image mirroring Public FIWARE lab has VM images thsese have FIWARE component(GE, GEris) is pre-installed. and Public FIWARE Lab is mirroing VM Images from Spain2 region. I would like to mirror images from Public FIWARE Lab, Is it possible?

2018-02-14 08:16:53 +0200 asked a question for sizing FIWARE Lab for limited users

Hello,

I would like to create "FIWARE Lab closed environment" for developing FIWARE apps for limited companies. I read abount following system requirements and know that FIWARE Lab uses OpenStack env. http://forge.fiware.org/plugins/media...andNetworkRequirements http://forge.fiware.org/plugins/media...Services_Required

but I can't understand physical env(how count servers, cpu cores, RAM, storage) that I need.

so, I would like to know how to size my servers(servers, cpu cores, RAM, storage) for closed FIWARE lab env. and I would like to know some definition of word

No 1 end-user, commnunity, customer In system requirements, I found words "end-user", "commnunity", "customer" I can't understand what mean these words in FIWARE Lab.

So, I would like to know what these words mean.

I use FIWARE Lab env. in following users

5 companies use this environment 10 users per company(10 users * 5 companies = 50 users) use this env. 3 comunities per company ( 3 comunities * 5 companies = 15 comunities ) use this env.

No 2 Sample sizing for physical servers, cpu cores, RAM, storage I find a sample of sizing for physical servers, cpu cores, RAM, storage. If you know that, please show me.
